Actionmaps started in 1999 with two plastic coated tourist maps—Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Since than we’ve produced many digitally created maps for an assortment of clients.
We created the official highway maps for three counties in New York: Cayuga, Chenango and Otsego.
Between 2004 and 2010 we produced many maps of areas in the south for a Knoxville map company, such as suburbs of Nashville, Tennessee, many of which were best sellers at major retailers like Barnes & Noble.
We have also created many maps of areas of New York State in partnership with our distributor, The Map Source. These include maps of the Western Region of New York, the Finger Lakes Region of New York, Ontario/Yates Counties and many others.
These maps under The Map Source title as well as our own Actionmaps titles can be found in many locations such as filling stations and convenience stores around Rochester and throughout Western and Central New York.
In 2014 we took another direction with the publishing of two new laminated maps of Rochester and Syracuse under The Map Source title. These maps open to about a full 20” x 27” size while still folding down to a normal printed map size.
